Experience Hall Hours
The SIGGRAPH 2025 Experience Hall opens on Monday, 11 August. Plan your trip to ensure you arrive in Vancouver when conference programming and events begin on Sunday, 10 August, and get ready to interact with the Art Gallery, Emerging Technologies, Immersive Pavilion, Labs, and Spatial Storytelling 11–14 August.

Children at SIGGRAPH
For child care needs, parents should contact local Vancouver agencies, and hotels should be able to provide recommendations. Lost Children
Unattended and lost children are to be taken to the conference management office until parents/guardians can be located. Conference management staff will notify SIGGRAPH 2025 security and instruct them to advise their staff with respect to the discovered child, as parents will probably approach security personnel with inquiries.

Food Services
There are plenty of food options near the Vancouver Convention Centre, with several options across the street from the Vancouver Convention Centre East and West buildings at the Waterfront Food Court (below the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel).
Wi-Fi
SIGGRAPH 2025 offers complimentary Wi-Fi for conference attendees. More information will be shared as we approach the conference.
Recording and Photography Policies
SIGGRAPH 2025 encourages photography, recording, and sharing many of the conference programs. As we approach the conference, check back here for a list of programs that encourage and prohibit photography and recording.
Charging Stations
The Vancouver Convention Centre offers limited availability to a device charging station. It is located in the Burrard Lobby in the West Building.
Quiet Room
SIGGRAPH 2025 reserves quiet room space, available for prayer, sensory sensitive individuals, or other needs. As we approach the conference, check back here for room location.
Computer Animation Festival — Electronic Theater Ticket Exchange
Unable to make your scheduled Electronic Theater showing? Visit Attendee Services in Hall B Lobby, Exhibit Level, where you can potentially exchange your ticket for a different viewing.

First-Time Attendees
Pathfinders is available to help you find your way. Pathfinders is a volunteer group dedicated to mentoring first-time conference visitors. The Pathfinders team can offer detailed explanations and descriptions of all SIGGRAPH programs or venues and help you build a schedule based on your personal skills and interests.
Pathfinders is located in West Building, Ballroom Lobby, and will be available 9–13 August during the following times:

Lost and Found
Lost and found items will be taken to the Vancouver Convention Centre Guest Services Information Desk (at the globe entrance) in the West Building during SIGGRAPH 2025. Once the conference is over, and the move-out is complete, lost items will be left at the Vancouver Convention Centre for attendees to claim for up to 30 days following the conference. Attendees can call the 24-hour guest services telephone number (+1.604.647.7299) to inquire about any lost items during the conference. All SIGGRAPH-week items will be kept separate from the current inventory of lost items so they can be easily identified.

Luggage Check
Heading to or from the airport? SIGGRAPH 2025 can store your luggage for you. Please visit Attendee Services in Exhibit Level, Hall A Lobby. Luggage check service is complimentary; however, all bags need to be picked up at the end of the day before the Attendee Services desk closes. Bags left overnight may incur a fee. SIGGRAPH is not responsible for any lost items.

Water Stations
The Vancouver Convention Centre is equipped with water bottle filling stations near restrooms. Please bring your own water bottle to refill and stay hydrated throughout your time at SIGGRAPH 2025.

Climate
SIGGRAPH 2025 takes place during Vancouver’s summer, where temperatures are warm and the sun shines through the evening. Expect temperatures over 20°C or 68°F.
Currency
The Canadian dollar (CAD) is the official currency. Currency can be exchanged at banks, credit unions, and foreign exchange brokers. The Vancouver Convention Centre recommends having local currency on hand before arriving.
Time Zone
Vancouver operates in the Pacific Time Zone, or “PDT” during SIGGRAPH 2025.
Language
Canada has two official languages: English and French. In Vancouver, English is predominantly spoken, but multilingual staff is often available at major tourism and business locations.
